What Causes Gingivitis To Occur? Know The Symptoms And Be Prevented With Gingivitis
Gingivitis is an infection that affects gum tissues and the bones that causes inflammation. Bacteria is the major culprit that causes the infection and they produce plaque. Excessive accumulation of plaque produces acids and toxins that irritates the gums causing it to be inflamed.
Symptoms of gingivitis and other forms of periodontal or gum disease such as bleeding gums, receding gums are often overlooked until pain and discomfort occur where the condition already becomes serious and needs gingivitis treatments, receding gums treatments and periodontal disease treatments.
Gingivitis is being indicated by red, swollen, tender,receding and gums that easily bleed especially during brushing and eating hard foods. If these symptoms are noticed, it should be prevented. If left untreated gingivitis may progress to serious dental problem and may even trigger certain medical conditions to occur such as diabetes and heart attack. Tooth loss can happen at its worse case.
